t2 Studios Peterborough based digital print division, print4tomorrow, is helping businesses fight the recession by providing lower cost, higher quality printed materials from two new high-technology presses.
With the new £150,000 ‘state of the art’ Xerox 700 digital colour press and the Xerox 4112 enterprise printing system, print4tomorrow will offer a fast, efficient service for printing anything from business cards to leaflets and training manuals.
The new printer also has environmental benefits as it allows the use of 100 per cent recycled stock and it is more energy efficient than conventional printing for doing short runs.
Peta Carter Smith of print4tomorrow said: “Speed is in the company’s name – what we offer is print for tomorrow, or even sooner if necessary.
“We have been offering digital print services since 1999. The new press allows even higher quality printing which is cost effective for even just a small number of items – and does it at high speed.
“Digital technology also allows variable data printing, enabling companies to personalise literature by including different individual names and addresses in every document. This has been shown to make communications much more effective and produces an increased response rate when used on direct mail.
“Our new digital presses will allow us to further improve the speed of our service and the quality of our printing and save our customers time and money.”
print4tomorrow has also installed a new piece of software which includes a colour match profiler. This involves a special machine scanning the colour of any object and loading it onto the computer, therefore allowing companies to use special colours – matching the colour of print to previous print jobs or samples taken from packaging or signage.
The new equipment installed by print4tomorrow offers high resolution printing and can produce more than 4,000 individual items per hour – with each one different if required.
