At t2 Studios, we take a proactive interest in ensuring that we use the latest digital technologies in areas such as design and hosting to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Some of these technologies, however, use a significant amount of energy. So now t2 Studios is working with energy consultants Interior Control Ltd to actively measure our energy usage and expenditure.

Interior Control – which is a Carbon Trust registered supplier – is able to help companies like t2 Studios gain knowledge and control of energy consumption with its intelligent energy control.

Interior Control’s Enistic system allows full ‘live’ monitoring and reports of energy consumption to a desk top PC. It gives detailed reports showing how much each department, building or area costs to run and a ‘dashboard’ for staff to see ‘live’ on their PCs how their actions cost and save energy as well as providing manual override systems for those early morning starts.

As part of an energy audit, often carried out free of charge, Interior Control can measure your energy usage and provide reports on efficiency improvements.

Things such as turning machines off, not leaving them on standby overnight and saving energy through LED lighting are just a few of the easy ways to control energy usage that an audit can highlight.

At t2 Studios, we are committed to investing in carbon reduction and being a proactive green supplier of web, email, social media, digital print services and much more.

We already print on recycled paper – all our digital presses can print on 100% recycled stocks – so working with Interior Control is a natural step in further reducing our carbon footprint.

Taking control of our energy costs by taking steps to control our energy usage can help save the planet – and save us money!

With plans in place to significantly reduce our energy consumption, t2 Studios is looking towards a much greener future.
